AWARENESS AND IMPACT OF SUSTAINABLE FINANCING INSTRUMENTS IN PORTUGUESE COMPANIES
UHY, in partnership with ISQ, conducted a pioneering study in Portugal on the current state of corporate maturity in sustainable financing and Portuguese companies’ perceptions of access to green and sustainable financing instruments.
Inspired by a European study by the European Commission and the ECB and based on data collected in the first quarter of 2025, this study provides insight into:
- The adoption and knowledge of sustainable financing instruments by Portuguese companies;
- The main challenges and barriers identified by organisations;
- The future prospects for integrating sustainable financial practices into the business fabric.
