Cláudio Gurgel

Cláudio Gurgel is a Tax Supervisor at UHY, with experience in national and international taxation, advising companies, multinational groups and investors.

His work focuses in particular on international taxation, tax planning, investment structuring, special tax regimes, VAT, tax incentives and inbound investment operations in Portugal.

Throughout his professional career, he has been part of the tax teams at PwC, EY, KPMG and Uría Menéndez. He is a PhD candidate and holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law, with additional training in Corporate Finance, and is a Guest Lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University.
