Ana Martins is Associate Partner of ESG Solutions at UHY, leading the Sustainability and ESG practice in Portugal. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Aveiro and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Waste Management and Treatment from the University of Porto, having started her career in air quality research.
She worked for 23 years at Deloitte Portugal, where she distinguished herself as a consultant and manager in sustainability and ESG services. As one of the pioneers in developing this area in Portugal, her experience spans advisory, ESG assurance, strategic definition, reporting, and sustainability data verification.
Following a period as an independent consultant working on various ESG projects, she joined Baker Tilly Portugal in September 2024 before transitioning to UHY. Her focus is on helping organizations transition to sustainable business models, leveraging sustainable financing opportunities, and creating long-term value.
